Yay Show Episode 33: Yay For Women Making Yayful Wine And Singing Us Home

This is a quiet one done in the evening after a fruitful, wine-ful day on a Leaf day after a fine West Sonoma county weekend of connection and fun - especially with women winemakers and proprietors of wine and Thrive-ing.

Plenty of links and people to share with you:

I met Maggie Kruse of Jordan Winery hanging out with Barb and Mat of Paul Matthew Vineyards at their tasting room in Graton for great wine and great friends. A massive community of Yay they are building and have so graciously and fully invited us into. I promise they will welcome you in, too. And it helps a lot that their wine is super awesome tasting, thoughtfully created and rather well-priced.

And Katy Wilson at the Sister District benefit at the Ruelings, just 2 houses and 1 vineyard up the street from us on Templeman Road in Forestville. Katy makes delicious wine for multiple wineries, including her own called Larue. Claypool Cellars Pachyderm Station tasting room is at the end of our road - stop in on a Sunday and hang out with Todd.

Merry Edwards Sauvignon Blanc gives us vineyard views and tasty wine. That picture on the website is right behind TLC (Tom and Lisa Clapper) Club Sonoma.

And there’s Idelewild Wines in Healdsburg, a raucous and radful affair on Friday evenings, say hi to Sharia. Hotskool Dumplings has a new nearby location - get yourself some of those yummy pockets of handmade goodness.

And say hi to Dava at Noise 13 or Invisible Talks or drinking wine and eating amazing food all around the Bay with John.

That was a lot of references in 15 minutes, y’all (all Yay, no pay).
