Welcome to The Yay Show.
Observation. Inspiration. Connections. Community-Building. Aspiration. Affirmation. Adventures. Possibilities. Musings. Meditations. YaySpiration. Strategy. Things I say out loud. And write.
The Yay Show happened when I was at the end of the week that changed everything (July 29th, 2018 to be exact) and because I couldn’t (keep) stopping to write things down as I was driving back from Murphys/Arnold, California where I saw Willie Nelson and Alison Krauss at Iron Stone Winery. Tom Clapper (my awesome hubby and partner in Yay) was radio silent on mancation in Baja and I was driving solo.
I kept seeing and hearing mind-blowing meaning everywhere. So I opened a voice memo and started talking. And did it again several times that first day. And I decided to do it every day in August. And I kept on talking on the fly. Flying on the talk.
Welcome to The Yay Show! It’s, according to Kate Walling, “Pure Lisa" #talkingoutloud, as she always has, connecting unconnected dots, observing, taking it all in and talking a bit of it out. Quite unedited. Hardly strictly anything. And if you find that interesting, come join me on the Yay road — it’s a whole lot more fun with friends.
I’ll be posting more shows here until and even after this become a distributed podcast on or by June 15, 2019 (You heard it here first, and I wrote it down in ink during this rad storytelling workshop on February 26, 2019.).
Newsflash, I crushed my goal and launched on anchor.fm/yayshow on May 14, 2019. You can learn why and how in Episode 118. I am beyond stoked! And it was ridiculously easy and exactly what I was looking for. Look for new episodes there and now, as of May 19, you heard it here probably not first, listen on Apple Podcasts!
Ps. I also have a Yay Show Spotify Playlist where I add songs I mention, dig or think about (from time to time).
